Congratulations to the team of five who rang a Quarter Peal of Plain Bob Doubles on the evening of Tuesday October 24^th, 2017.

This will be the last Quarter Peal before the bells are removed early in April next year.

The successful team were:

• Michael Matthews who conducted the peal
• Sue Matthews on the Treble Bell
• Mary Parnham on Bell 2
• Chris Spencer on Bell 3
• Iain Hayden on Bell 4.

It consisted of 1260 changes and took 42 minutes to complete.  The peal was recorded by David Weir to add to our records of the bell project.   Both during and after the peal, David and Sarah Gray kindly served drinks and cake from their garden retreat in Church Lane which was much appreciated by those who came along.

We anticipate that work to remove the bells will commence on April 9^th 2018 and the bells will be returned, along with the new bell, around July 9^th 2018.

There is still an opportunity to sponsor a headstock and have a personal inscription running across the top for a donation of either £200 or £300. Do let Annette know if you are interested.
