LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
Here is the link to this weeks' Sunday Service for 8th November, Remembrance Sunday. This is a very special and moving service where Annette is joined by Little Paxton Parish Councillors, Jean Matheson, Paul and Kathy Bishop, together with Colin Dawson from Southoe, Trevor Smith from Great Paxton and Dave Dodman from Diddington. We are so grateful to our friends who helped make our Service of Remembrance particularly special.
This weeks' Sunday worship is for All Saints Day 1st November 2020. Once again we will be closing our church doors from Thursday 5th November, with the hope that we will reopen again soon. Annette will continue to post her virtual services each week.
The church will be open for private prayer should anyone wish to come into church for some quiet reflection. If this is the case please do contact the Churchwardens and they can open up for you.
Here is the YouTube link to this weeks' Sunday Service for Sunday 25th October. Annette and the lovely Ursula, from Great Paxton, share the story of 'The Good Samaritan'.
Ursula also, in her very engaging and thoughtful way, shares her thoughts about 'The Good Samaritan'. Thank you very much to Ursula - always great fun and interesting to listen to.
This weeks' Sunday worship is for the nineteenth Sunday following Trinity and focuses on 'The Feast of St Luke' - Doctor and faithful companion to St Paul. The 18th October is the day on which St Luke is remembered in the Christian Church since earliest times.
The link to Annette's YouTube service is below. This week it includes Jodie, local hairdresser in Little Paxton who talks about her experience during Covid-19.
Here is the link to this weeks' Sunday Worship for 11th october 2020. This is for the eighteenth sunday following Trinity which focuses on 'Rejoice in the Lord Always' with the gospel reading from Matthew Chapter 22 vs 1-14. The service this week includes Ursula from Manor Farm in Great Paxton, together with Joan, her lovely mum, who kindly tells us her thoughts and reflections on visiting Assisi and the compassionate life of St Francis who lived in 12th Century Italy......St Francis is traditionally remembered in early October for his love of nature and wildlife.
A very sincere thank you to Joan and Ursula for making us so welcome and giving their time (and talents) to be part of our service - and not fogetting Milo the dog who puts in an appearance!
