LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
Here is the link to this weeks' Sunday Service for Sunday 17th January 2021 which is the second sunday of Epiphany and Annette's video is around the story of Nathanael's (Bartholomew) first meeting with Jesus. This week Annette links up with two lovely ladies; The first is Alison Martin who used to live in Little Paxton and was an active member of St James Church and, until lockdown, travelled from Bottisham to join us for our Forty Minute services. Alison kindly reads from the bible for us, John 1 vs43-51 and shares with us how Jesus has always been in her life. Annette also had the opportunity to speak to Ursula Van Leeuwen-Hill from Great Paxton, to read a prayer for us whilst in the Vicarage garden. A big thank you ladies!
Would you like to be part of an online bible study group every 1st and 3rd wednesdays of each month? The group will begin on Wednesday 20th January, via zoom, at 6pm for approx. 45 minutes, followed by an optional quick 15 minute service. If you would like more information or would love to join Mel, please email her at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and she will respond to you and supply the necessary zoom information.
Annette has made this sunday's video recording service from home at the Vicarage and the theme is the Baptism of Christ. A big thank you to Sarah Symonds for reading the lesson (Gospel according to Matthew - Chapter 3 v13-17) and to Mary Parnham for ringing at St James (filmed in the summer).

Here is the link to this weeks' Sunday Service for 3rd January 2021 and the second sunday after Christmas. Before you watch the video you may wish to have a candle ready to light before the prayers at the end of the service.
A big thank you to Anne Templar and Charles Hutchings and their two boys who very kindly came into church to play their wind instruments for our video - and Jean Matheson for reading for us. I can confirm that currently there will be no services in church. We are hoping to make a firm decision about moving forward, next week.
Here is the link to our joyous Christmas Day service for 2020. This video comes from Annette, with love to everyone and hopes for a better 2021. In the video Annette tells the Christmas story with a little help from friends. We should just mention that the video has been particularly special for Annette, as her son, Mike, sings with her, as they had done many years ago, and she never thought that would happen!
With sincere thanks to Mike Reed for assisting Annette with the service and producing the video for us; to Charles Hutchings for playing carols on his trumpet; Kalu Robinson for singing for us and David Thomas for the roles he played. If you only watch the outtakes at the end there are guaranteed laughs! I am also attaching a link below to all the YouTube videos from this year. Merry Christmas and keep safe and well!
Here is the YouTube service for the fourth sunday of advent. Annette is joined by Charles Hutchings playing carols on his trumpet, Kalu Robinson singing the very emotional song 'Mary Did You Know' and Councillor Jean Matheson reading from the first passage of Luke's gospel. Thank you so much to Charles, Kalu and Jean.
