LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
As promised, here is the link to Sunday's service recorded live:
This month Annette has the pleasure of sharing the words and music for this video with Ursula Van Leeuwen-Hill at her Great Paxton home beside the church. They look at the story of the walk to Emmaus and how a stranger joined two of Jesus’ disciples and set up a conversation. It wasn’t until they ate a meal at the disciple’s house and the stranger broke bread, that they realised it was Jesus.
Sincere thanks to Ursula for letting us record our video in her home and for her lovely personal reflections which she shares with us.
This week we have a surprise for you ….. during our service we are joined by the wonderful puppeteers, Glenn and Maggie Coiley who tell the Easter story, including ‘Doubting Thomas’. Big thank you to Glenn and Maggie – we loved it! Please follow this link to join our worship which includes some audience participation near the end of our service – great fun and worth seeing!
Apologies if you don’t experience good sound quality – our fault - another learning curve for us! Back next week with KIT and Annette’s personal video of worship.
I am delighted to be able to post our live stream from Easter Day, Sunday 17th April 2022
I am very pleased to be able to send you Annette’s first benefice YouTube service of the month which is for the Fifth Sunday in Lent, Passion Sunday. Please follow this below to join our service of worship. This month Annette thinks about ‘patience’ and during the service interviews Diane James from Great Paxton. Diane and team have been planning the Millenium Fest 1000 year celebrations and they have had to be very patient as the Festival has been put off so many times due to covid. Diane also talks about the new pew cushions which have taken many months to make and are being made by various crafters in the village and beyond. Jean Matheson kindly reads some verses from St Paul’s letter to the Galatians which remind us of the fruits of the spirit. Big thank you to Diane and Jean for taking part in our service.
