LEARN TO RING THE BELLS
Meet people, have fun & get fit!
The South Aisle Roof – fingers crossed!
Grant applications have gone in for funding to fix the South Aisle Roof, 2/3rds of which has come to the end of its useful life. Last year heavy rain invariably led to puddles of water in the south aisle and prolonged water ingress will lead to the roof timbers rotting.
Thanks to a very generous private donation, it has been possible to make grant applications as most grant making bodies require substantial funding to be in place before applying. It is always possible to make a one off donation to Great Paxton Church using the QR code below. Every donation really does help to keep the 1,000 year old church in good order.
The Parish Giving Scheme.
This is a scheme which provides people with an easy way of making a regular contribution to a parish church. Many make monthly donations, but they can be given over different periods of time. If a donor pays income tax, their gift can benefit from gift aid as well. There is a simple leaflet which explains how to set up a regular gift under the parish giving scheme which can be obtained by emailing Annette:
