Keeping in Touch Edition 52

This weeks' service is for the fifth sunday in Lent - Passion Sunday.  Our service is based on the gospel reading from John's Gospel Chapter 12 vs 20-33 'I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.'

Annette is joined by the wonderful Stuart McCarthy on the organ and also reads the gospel for us.  We are also fortunate to have Kathy Bishop to sing 'Now the Green Blade Riseth' - a hymn written by Rev John Crum who based his writing on Jesus' words in John's Gospel passage.

This weeks' Keeping in Touch edition 51 for Sunday 14th March 2021.  We are getting ready to open up our church for public worship starting in Holy Week.  Do take a look at this week's edition where Annette writes of Mothering Sunday.

This sunday is the fourth sunday in Lent and this week Annette reminds us os some of the rich history of Mothering Sunday, also known as Refreshment Sunday or mid Lent.  Annette chats to some lovely ladies from all four of our churches about what it means to them being mothers.  Here is the link to this weeks' service:
