This Sunday is the second sunday of Lent and Annette joins Doreen Heley in her new garden which is bursting into life. Doreen kindly reads the gospel (Mark Chapter 8 vs 31-38) from her garden. This week Annette also visits Sawtry where she chats with Rev Becky Dyball, Vicar at Sawtry with Holme and Glatton. Becky kindly shares her thoughts on this weeks' reading.

Here is the weekly Keeping in Touch newsletter for the first sunday in lent, 21st February. Our gospel this week comes from Mark Chapter 1 vs 9-15 and in our virtual service it is read by Bob Hacking, Churchwarden at our Holy Minster Church of Great Paxton.
This sunday is the first sunday in Lent and Annette chats on the phone to The Venerable Hugh McCurdy, Archdeacon for Huntingdon and Wisbech in the Diocese of Ely. During his chat with Annette, Archdeacon Hugh gives us his own thoughts on how we may approach lent this year.
